The City of Medical Lake Civil Service Commission is made up of three members who are appointed by the Mayor.  Each member is appointed to serve a six year term.  Terms have been staggered to provide ongoing experience to the Commission.

Meetings of the Civil Service Commission are the last Thursday of every month at 4:00 pm, unless there is no pending business requiring Commission action.

TESTING INFO

The City of Medical Lake has an interlocal agreement with the City of Cheney for Entry Level Police Officer Civil Service testing.  The test is conducted once every year.  The testing for both cities will be conducted by Cheney in August or September 2008.  By passing the tests, you could get on the Entry Level lists for both cities, if you meet their qualifications.  

The Civil Service test consists of a physical ability test, a written exam and an oral board.
