VOLUNTEERING WITH MEDICAL LAKE FIRE DEPARTMENT 

Medical Lake Fire Department is always looking for volunteers who are willing and ready to serve their community. Training is currently being held on the 2nd Thursday of the month 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 124 S. Lefevre St.

Requirements for being a Volunteer:

  • Must be 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma or GED (those still in high school must maintain and submit proof of having a minimum 2.0 GPA)
  • Must be willing to carry pager at all times and respond to request for services
  • 50% Training Attendance is Required plus One-Shift (12 hours) per Week
  • Must be Customer Service Oriented and willing to work in a Team-Setting
  • Must be willing to submit to Background Investigation & Driver’s License Check
  • Must Complete Medical Physical Examination
